HOW IT ALL WORKS
Schedule an Appointment
It all begins with a consultation that typically takes 45 minutes to an hour. We will tour your home or office while discussing your particular challenges. We ask that you don’t tidy things up or put things away before we arrive so we can see exactly how you function in your space. Together, we will discuss your organizing goals and formulate a plan for reaching them. We will then schedule our first session where we will work side by side to accomplish your goals. There may be a single organizer or several depending on the project and timeline set forth at the consultation. Our goal is to maximize your space and its functionality while eliminating chaos and clutter. We do that by teaching organizing skills and setting up systems that allow you to remain organized long after your project is complete.

How do I get started?

What is it like working with a Professional Organizer?
We are passionate about what we do and are eager to help! In a nurturing, nonjudgmental way, we will help make a difference in your everyday life. Whether we are working on time management, clearing out your closets, or streamlining your business, you will be amazed at how motivated you are after just one session. We will be by your side, cheering you on, every step of the way.
How does the process work?
During the initial phone consultation, we will discuss your areas of concern and begin to get to know one another. At that time, we will schedule an in home consultation which will allow us to set goals and create a plan of action. At our first work session, which typically lasts 3 to 4 hours, we will begin tackling your project. You will see progress every time we work together!
What does it cost?
Our fees are based on an hourly rate. Discounts are applied if additional organizers will be used to complete your project. We accept cash or checks and are happy to invoice clients whose project is larger in scope.
How long will it take?
Getting organized is a process and requires changing your current habits. Systems such as how to process incoming mail, how to maintain a filing system, or even how to better manage your time can be established in a single day. But it’s finding the right tools and establishing good habits that will truly make a difference in your life, and that takes time. How quickly you make decisions regarding what to keep and what to give away will also affect how quickly you reach your organizing goals. So be patient and take things one day at a time. You are well worth the investment in time and money to create a more peaceful environment whether at home or at the office.
Who decides what we get rid of?
You do! Our job is to help you reach your organizing goals and you have the ultimate say on what we get rid of and what stays. There is no pressure to give things away. We may ask why you have five of the same item, but the decision is ultimately yours.
Where do the things we get rid of go?
Again, the choice is yours. Items may be passed on to family and friends, recycled, donated, sold, or simply thrown away. We have numerous resources and are happy to make suggestions regarding the best use of your items.
How will getting organized help me?
Getting organized will save you time, money, and possibly your sanity. Imagine if you could find everything you need as soon as you needed it.
